Dr. Eugene Spafford:

Eugene H. Spafford is a professor of Computer Sciences at Purdue University, and is the founder and Executive Director of the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS). His research and education over three decades has contributed to many of the technologies used in modern computing system protection. Spaf’s current research interests are in information security, cybercrime, software engineering, professional ethics, and security policy. Dr. Spafford is a Fellow of the ACM, AAAS, IEEE, ISC2, is a Distinguished Fellow of the ISSA, and has received many other awards for service, scholarship, and education.

Mr. Robert Attoe:

Robs contributions, over the past decade, to State, Local, Federal and International law enforcement agencies, as well as worldwide corporate entities involved in the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of high-technology crime have been widely regarded. He currently holds the position of Director of Academic Initiatives at AccessData, leading the coordination of custom curriculum and the management of the Federal/Government training section as well as research into emerging technologies and methodologies in digital forensics. Previously Rob attained the position of Computer Crime Specialist II with the National White Collar Crime Center, where, as a participant of several course development teams with the NW3C, his primary focus was the research and development of file system analysis and automated forensic tool curriculum. He is a member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) holding an active Certification as a Forensic Computer Examiner and has served as an instructor at the annual IACIS Conference along with regularly presenting at many additional international conferences and organized events, such as HTCIA, DoD Cyber Crime and ICAC Conferences. Rob has authored and taught many digital forensic courses throughout the world as well as co-authoring course for The National Hi-Tech Crime Unit in the United Kingdom and advanced courses for IACIS. Patrick K. Harrington:

Tippecanoe County Prosecutor, US Special Assistant District Attorney, Northern District of Indiana 

Patrick Harrington is currently the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor and was appointed in 2008 by U.S. Attorney, Northern District of Indiana, U.S. Special Assistant District Attorney with the Gang/Drug Interdiction Unit. Pat has practiced criminal law for 29 years, beginning his career serving in the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office from 1982 – 1985. From 1986 – 2006 he was in private practice, and was elected to his current position as Prosecutor of Tippecanoe County in 2007. Prosecuted/Defended over 100 criminal jury trials during his 29 year legal career.
